Vases and Egg
This is another still life of a series of value studies set up in the dark of my basement. I wanted to get back to basics for a while concentrating on drawing; line work and value only.
I believe this method keeps artistic skills sharpened as much in the same way as drawing the human figure from life.
This still life depicts a pretty vase arrangement along with the academic subject of the egg all rendered on artist’s black drawing paper.
